XOD is a visual based programming language for microcontroller,as in their official website.And Its a opensource tool launched in 2017.Which is capable to program most popular micro controllers i.e arduino also microprocessor i.e,Raspberry pi.

According to documentation ,with XOD we can

  1. BUILD PROGRAMS VISUALLY WITH NODES
  2. LINK NODES TO DEFINE BEHAVIOR
  3. EVOLVE YOUR PROGRAM INCREMENTALLY
  4. UPLOAD DIRECTLY TO THE BOARD

And they provided two types of IDE i.e Integrated Development Environment,

  • Browser IDE
  • Desktop IDE

    Both IDE makes no difference in apperance but in performance wise Desktop IDE works better.Because uploading via browser IDE is buggy.

And there is a forum available for communicating with fellow users and developers.
